Donna Ignelzi-Ferraro, PhD

Donna Ignelzi-Ferraro is a licensed psychologist in the State of Delaware and has earned the Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology. She has been working in the field of psychology for approximately 30 years in a variety of settings and capacities. She was employed as an educational psychologist, special education administrator, and for the last 16 years, as a private practice psychologist. Dr. Ferraro is certified in cognitive behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and telebehavioral health in Psychology.

Dr. Ferraro received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with a minor in Psychology from Duquesne University.

She earned her MA and PhD in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Thereafter, she completed one year of post doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania in Structural Family Therapy and one year at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Dr. Ferraro completed her internship at the Newark Family Counseling Center, focusing on further training in cognitive behavioral therapy. Most recently, she completed training in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the New England Institute of Hypnotherapy and Telebehavioral Health Institute.
